About FRANCISTOWN CENTRE FOR DEAF EDUCATION

Botswana society for the Deaf is a nonprofit making, nongovernmental and charitable organization aiming at fulfilling the needs of people with hearing impairment. BSD promotes the interests and welfare of the Deaf population in Botswana through advocacy and empowerment.
BSD owns and governs two Centers, Ramotswa Centre for Deaf Education (RCDE) and Francistown Centre for Deaf Education (FCDE) with assistance from Botswana Government through Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD). The two centers provide pre-primary and primary education to Deaf pupils through boarding facility.
